Artist Keri Lyn begins each CanvasKennel painting never knowing what the end result will be. Always beginning with the eyes
(the windows to the soul),
Keri Lyn lets each pup create itself...and as the painting continues, a story emerges, and a new and totally unique dog is born!
These dogs are created by
Keri Lyn,
but inspired by all of the dogs she has met,
lived with, stories she has heard,
a dog that might have appeared in a dream...
but most of all...
stories of rescue, and even sadder,
the rows and rows of full kennels
at the animal shelters.
And that is why CanvasKennels was created...
out of a helpless feeling and
a need to
DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!
Proceeds from each sale of each painting
will to go help a rescue group.
